Here is one of the Q/A:

What is your writing process?
When I was writing the newspaper columns, I had a restriction on the word count (1,000 words) and a Monday morning deadline. For the marine science and marine life topics, I usually spent between 8 and 15 hours doing research, talking to scientists and selecting images for the piece. I will be archiving all the research articles on the site, and provide links for readers to download the material I studied as part of the writing process. My goal was to put the science in terms even I could understand (for us scientifically-challenged folks!). I learned a great deal by reading the science and participating on the Working Group for the Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary (the “Sanctuary Series” was a natural fallout from this). I think readers will enjoy perusing the source material once they finish the ebook.
